New Persist/Resist Collection is Coming- Sneak Peeks Inside
I was raised in a family who believed that I could do anything I wanted with my life, and that being a girl shouldn't limit me. But that didn’t stop me from hearing other messages from strangers, the media and pretty much anywhere I looked.
Messages that a woman should be submissive, quiet, and take up as little space as possible. That their main concerns should be how to please people, take a back seat and let the real leaders (AKA men) do their job.
I’m so proud to see how far we’ve come in the last thirty years, but also how shocked at how much further there is still to go. In 2021 25 countries have a female head of government, and for the first time ( ever!!) a woman is Vice- President in the United States. Yet, there are more men named John who lead large companies in Australia than there are women lead ones.
The theme of this year’s International Women's Day is to #ChooseToChallenge and my new collection does just that!
It celebrates people who refused to just be pretty, who challenged expectations, and forged the way for others. People who are proudly ‘nasty women,’ defying expectations, and standing up for what they believe in.
It’s a rallying call to stand up for yourself and others: To take no shit today, or any other day. To stand tall, proudly take up space, and speak your mind, and to fight for your voice and your seat at whatever table you want to be at.

It’s a reminder that you are strong and powerful, and that you control your own life, and can choose whichever path you want.

Whilst this collection is being released in time for International Womens day it is not just for Women. 2 of the designs (the quotes used to silence women)feature she/her pronouns or the word woman because I felt it was important to keep them in their original form. However the other 5 designs are intended to represent everyone who needs a little reminder to Persist and Resist, that you are Empowered and that Feminism is for Every Body!
My new collection will launch at 12 pm on Thursday 4th March (AEST).
Which design is your favourite? Tell us in the comments below!
Stay safe, and look after yourselves and each other.
Lots of Love, Tasha and the Jubly Crew. XX

“Dont let the bastards grind you down " was my fathers favourite saying anytime anything went wrong for me and it kept me going , I now use it with my Vulnerable customers , It makes you laugh and strengthens your determination to keep going and give your rude finger to the establishment LOL

I am so keen for this! I chose Persist as my “word of the year” for 2021, so the Persist/Resist pin is perfect. Though I like ‘Nasty Woman’ as well. <3
